Development of Final Design
- from the crit it was suggested that the imagery from the sky design should be blended with the phrases from the light bulb talking idea as this would clearly state the practical benefits to the consumer and show the environmental qualities of the product through an original use of imagery.
- In the previous design of the light bulb talking idea the words were coloured different shades of green. To better fit with the imagery these were adjusted to different shades of blue to create consistency within the design.
- The use of Apetura for the captions underneath the main phrases creates a light and airy feel to the design whilst also reflecting a similar style to the logotype creating continuity within the design, without being the same.
- Placing the light bulb in the middle between the white ad sky sections, with a glow behind the image would allow the bulb to better blend between the two sections.
- Using a white gradient across the whole sky image allows white section to better blend more naturally into the image and allows elements of the image to be seen throughout the design
- Keeping the bulb small works more effectively than it being larger and stretching over two sides as it reinforces the idea of the bulb talking and makes the product easier to see for the consumer.
