Which best reflects the consumer benefits of the product?
What are your thoughts on using a light bulb image, a cut out to show the product inside or is it even necessary to have a product picture?
What is the most important information for the consumer to decide which light bulb to buy ?
Which phrase, statement or tag line on any of the designs would encourage you to buy the product?
Which best reflects the environmental qualities of the product?
How would you improve the designs?
Feedback
- Stay away from the use of the yellow with the two types of green as this is associated with BP oil which are not considered environmentally friendly- using green is an easy link to the environment and clear
- the design with the lightbulb and text stands out with the hierarchy being strong and shows all the benefits to the consumer clearly.
- try mocking this design up with all the extra text and need to know information on it
- using mainly words has more impact than the designs that look like a diagram, more easily understood
- perhaps try picking one type of consumer to appeal to
- the cloud design is also strong however perhaps a little to standard, however the cloud imagery could be linked with the text design as a way of visually tying the words with the environment
- when using the cloud imagery with the text the colours should be changed to blue to better reflect the image
- the use of the sky imagery creates a sense / illusion of natural light and freshness
- the cloud design is an effective way of showing the environment and sustainability without using traditional green and leaves etc
- modify the text to 'green our world' or 'green the world' as this link it more to the benefit of everyone making consumers feel like they have helped
- cut outs within the packaging could be tested to show the product, however the use of the image is fine
- cardboard rather than plastic will be better as this is considered more environmentally friendly
- cut outs may make the light bulb less protected
