Further Considerations for the Layout of the Workbook
- To fit with the branding elements it was considered that each of the brand elements could be placed on different double spread with the questions / statement then placed in the square. Exercises would then alternate so that the symbols were different on each spread.
- Swapping between horizontal and vertical orientations would allow the most to be made of each page.
- Rather than having the exercise alongside the documentation pages it was considered these could be separate. Having a particular page with and exercise suggests to the user how they should respond. However if they are broken up then this gives the user the choice of which of the three types of page they want to use to respond to the question / statement.
- Having blank spaces next to the topic and exercise on the documentation pages will allow the user to fill in which exercise they are using it for.
- The contents pages would then have space for the user to write what pages they've used for what exercise
